How to Find Out What People Will Buy Six Months From Now!

A constant question that comes up, is if cellular is still
a strong affiliate revenue source. The answer is a
resounding yes, for anything and everything wireless.

Motorola has recently purchased ultra broadband
technology, and intends to have it integrated with products
by the end of next year. Ultra broadband allows low
frequency, low
interference, and enables wired like speeds to wireless
devices and networks.

Nokia has added a handheld game device called N-Gage which
continues to grow in popularity. They've also launched a
line of "walkie talkie" phones, so you can push to talk
instantly to your buddies.

So as you can see, the market is hot and continues to grow
at an accelerated rate. Back 1998, when I first promoted
cell phones on the internet, one in four people had a cell
phone.
In 2004, 63% of all Americans will have a wireless phone.

Some have more than one.

Not only are there new customers, but existing ones will
continue to upgrade to the latest gizmos. Phones with built
in cameras and MP3 players are already commonplace. Next
year expect the emergence of televisions built into the
phones.

Real Networks has already signed a deal with AT&T to
stream video to existing phones.

According to a recent article in USA Today, "Camera cell
phones are just the beginning. They are on pace to become
the fastest-selling consumer technology product ever,
whizzing past DVD players. Introduced three years ago in
Japan and one year ago in the USA, 80 million camera cell
phones have been sold worldwide - 6 million in the USA."

It's possible because the convergence of media continues
at an accelerated pace, as the connecting pipes keep
getting bigger.

The lines between wired, wireless, audio, video, internet
and television will continue to blur, as they become
interchangeable.

Are you cashing in on the digital revolution? Did you set
up a mininet of your affiliate revenue sites six months
ago? Did you catch the December rush?

Here's a little secret. If you want to know what's going
on, six months ahead of anyone else. Instead of reading
email in the morning, log on to news.yahoo.com or
reuters.com (yes The newswire people), click on their
technology links, and read about the future.

Armed with this knowledge, you can have your affiliate
revenue sites created, uploaded and indexed by the search
engines, before the general public even knows they'll begin
searching for these things.

It seems that Google have been playing around with how
they rank sites with some terrible results. Some people
have even suggested that it's a conspiracy to get more
revenue from the Google Adwords program, but I'll leave you
to come to your own conclusions on this.

Whatever the reasons, a large number of sites that have
previously enjoyed high search engine rankings, have now
been relegated to the bleaches following the re-shuffle.

I don't know about you, but I'm not all that ecstatic with
what's happened and I'm not alone, as hundreds of
webmasters are also upset about their sites basically
disappearing from the search results overnight.

Are the recent changes going to be permanent?

Only Google knows the answer to this (well can only hope
anyway). But, I do know that interesting times lie ahead
and with all the SEO experts still scratching their heads
trying to work it all out, anything is possible after the
dust settles.

This only confirms my belief that if you follow the rules of
engagement outlined by Google and don't try to fool the
search engines by creating mirror sites or multiple sites with
similar content, you will always come out smelling like roses.
