Hi,
Well, for those who
are following my air-conditioning saga
from last week here is the updage.
To make a long story
short, I relented and bought a new
air-conditioning unit (naturally). For some unknown
reason, females seem to have tremendous powers of
persuasion. So everyone is happy and I now am able to have
a decent conversation with my family again ;o)
Here's a tip for
all the males out there ... "Beware a
Woman Scorned"!
Now you won't find
that tip in any marketing book, but
it's probably the best advice you will every receive. But
hey... you gotta love'em don't ya. Let's face it, without
them we'd be worse off then a herd of lost sheep in the
middle of desert!

You Need to Build Your Private Money Train!

In the last issue
you discovered the number one reason why
most online businesses fail. You also discover how you
could implement a simple strategy to ensure that you not
only succeeded, but how you could create the opportunity to
earn a massive online income by building your own personal
"money train".
But, before you can
start making money online with your
"money train", a.k.a. your optin email list, you need
to
grab the right "tools of the trade".
This is where I may
have gotten a little ahead of myself.
Some people new to this "internet thing" haven't yet
acquired the necessary resources or tools to start building
their email lists.
So in this issue
we will discuss what you need before you
can start the follow-up process.
Now if you were a
tradesperson, you'd know that you have
to fork out big bucks to get high quality tools, but it's
worth it in the end, because as with most things, you only
get what you pay for.
In other
words, if you want to do a professional job, you
have to use professional tools.
But that begs the
question… if you're on a tight budget,
but still want the best tools or services available to run
your business, what do you do? How can you professional
quality tools, yet still afford them on a budget?
Most people will
not even give you a second glance and
tell you to "get a life and stop dreaming".
However, you're about
to discover how to get all the
killer resources and tools you need to start building your
"money train", as well as anything else to do with
your
online business.
So... what quality
tools do you need and where can you find
them at bargain basement prices?
Basically you'll
need three services to allow you to build
your email list:
1. Web Hosting Service
2. Unlimited Autoresponder Service
3. Ad Tracking

Hosting Service -
Yes... I know. This
is fairly obvious. But nonetheless it is
a very important component of your business and the
decision on what type of service you use will have a major
bearing the future of you online business. So it needs to
be taken very seriously.
You can basically
classify web hosting services into two
categories, free hosting and professional hosting. To work
out what service is best suited for your business, you'll
need to decide what type of features and benefits you'll
need to run you business.
If you use a free
hosting account, you won't be able to
use your own domain name, you will find it almost
impossible to listed in the search engines and you will be
seen by your visitors as an amateur and they will be
reluctant to take you seriously.
Don't get me wrong.
Free web hosting can form an integral
part of your marketing strategy, but not as your primary
service. If you want to be seen as being serious about your
online business, I highly recommend you grab yourself a

Sure you may pay

service, but just like a tradesman needs high quality tools
to make a professionally finished product, you need to be
seen as being professional to your visitors, so that you
can deliver what your customers want.

As you can imagine,

Firstly let me explain
what an autoresponder is.
Basically an autoresponder
is an automatic ecommerce
management system that allows you to place your follow-up
system on autopilot, so you can concentrate on other areas
of your business or family activities.
All you have to do
is place a script on you web pages to
capture the contact details of your visitors and it will
automatically manage your email list by inserting or
deleting contacts as necessary in that particular
autoresponder account.
You can also pre-program
hundreds of messages that can be
sent to many thousands of people on your list at the same
time on any day in the future, starting from when your
visitor first subscribed.
Included in most
web hosting services is a fairly basic,
low cost, limited autoresponder, and while this may suit
the needs of "hobby" sites, it is not designed for

contacts, or multiple accounts.
You can also get

for reasons similar to those mentioned in the above
chapter, unless your running a hobby business, it is best
to avoid these services.
As a serious marketer,
you will need the benefits that

provide to allow you to set up unlimited accounts,
unlimited message sequences and professional list
management so you can place your follow-up system on
autopilot.
The key element of
using this type of software is that you
will be able to manage literally thousands of email
addresses and put your email list building process on
autopilot.

way... if I could show you how I
increased my visitor to subscriber conversions by 465%,

Everytime that I
make any changes to my webpages, I track

Split
Your Pages to Increase Your Search Engine Rankings
Search engines try
to determine the individual topics of
your web pages. If you have too many subjects on a single
web page, search engines cannot determine the topic of your
page and your web page is not going to rank highly for any
of the words on your page.
Get
higher relevancy and better keyword density...
Using a single subject
on a web page increases the
relevancy of the page for a specific keyword. For example,
assume you have a web page describing two topics: camping
axes and camping tents. If your web page contains 500 words
and you mention your keyword "camping axe" five times
on
that page, then that keyword appears every 100th word on
average.
Now suppose
you split the page into two pages, one for the
keyword "camping axe" and one for the keyword "camping
tent" and both pages have 250 words. The keyword "camping
axe" now appears as every 50th word on average making it
more relevant to the search engine.
In addition,
you now have the opportunity to use
individual page titles with distinct keywords in them.
Add depth
to your web site...
There's another important
aspect concerning search
engines. If you break your pages into smaller pieces, your
web site will comprise more pages. Your web site has more
"depth" and search engines are known to rank web sites
higher that consists of more pages than a three-page web
site.
Please
your customers...
Another benefit is
that visitors like to read shorter
pieces of text. People cannot read as quickly from a
monitor in comparison to reading hard copy. They complain
of visual fatigue and blurring reading long pages of text
from a computer monitor.
In summary, try to
cover only one topic per page. Split
separate topics into their own pages and both your readers
and your search engine rankings will benefit.
