Dave and Aaron here. Welcome to Issue #44 of the
"Your Journey to Freedom" newsletter.

Well I don't know about you but I've been waiting for four
long years... and finally the wait is over. The Olympics
have been declared opened and the games have begun.
Yippeee!

The only draw back is the late nights and very early
mornings. I'm glad they only go for 16 days, I don't think
I could last any longer :o)

But this is a small price to pay to watch the best sports
people in the world go head to head and compete against
each other to see who truly is the best of the best.

It's also amazing to see the different reactions of the
competitors when they achieve they're life long ambition of
winning an Olympic Gold Medal. Particularly when an
underdog comes from behind and beats a favorite. It's just
so inspiring!

In a way, this can also be related to internet marketing.

The Gold Medal favorites for the Internet Marketing
Olympics are of course the gurus, such as Corey Rudl,
Marlon Sanders, Neil Shearing, John Reese, Willie Crawford
and Armand Morin. Just to name a few!

The underdogs are people like ourselves who haven't yet
quite got the experience or knowledge base to mix it head
on with the "big boy", but we keep putting in the hard
yards and keep plugging away knowing that one day the dream
of being truly successful will come true.

But you have to ask yourself... the dream you have of
having being able to do what you want, when you want and
how you want...

... is it your Future... or your Fantasy?

Are you're prepared to "pay the Ferryman" before you can
achieve your dreams?

Or are you just wishing that your dreams come true without
realy doing anything about it.

If you aren't prepared to do the one thing that 95% of
"would-be" online business owners never do, then your
dreams aren't your Future at all, they're your Fantasy.

Did you know that only 5% of all online business owners
will make any real money online.

Are you prepared to do the one thing that only 5% of
people do to be successful?

More to the point... do you even know what this one thing
is?

Have You Got What it Takes to Succeed online?

OK... you've searched the web, checked out heaps of
website and were very impressed with what you seen. In
fact you were so impressed you've decided to start an
internet business so you can join in and make money
online.

Great choice.

The internet can provide tremendous wealth opportuni.ties
and can give you the chan.ce to earn a very generous inco.me
online so you can spend more time with your family and
allow you to literally live your dreams.

But warned. Starting an online business doesn't come
without pitfalls and hard work.

If you believe all the hogwash that you've read while
searching the net and think that all you have to do is buy
a product, place it on the web and then sit back on the
beach sucking Margarita's while waiting for your bank
account to swell like a puppy's belly at feeding time, then
you're going to be sadly disappointed!

YES... the internet can do all this for you. But only if
you're prepared to be patient, work hard and put in the
effort to build a solid foundation for your business.

You may be shocked to learn that the internet is littered
with websites that have NEVER earned one red cent for their
owners. In fact over 95% of ALL internet businesses fail
to make enough money to pay their monthly expenses.

Sure... they all had the best intensions and they all
probably thought that they were finally going to make the
fortune they so rightfully deserved. But unfortunately
this was not to be. Their dreams were well and truly
shattered.

So what happened? Why didn't these website owners who
had the best of intensions succeed? What difference was
there that allowed some internet marketers to earn
absolutely stupendous amounts of money online while
others didn't even earn enough money online to buy a
cup of coffee?

The answer can be summed up in one lousy six-letter word.

This one small word is the difference between earning over
$100,000 per year, as many internet marketers do, and
staring at your screen for hours on end waiting for all
the orders that will never flow into your inbox.

We're talking about ACTION!

Yep... you heard me right the first time. In fact it's that
important I'll spell it our for your again.

A - C - T - I - O - N

"Hang on a minute", I hear you say, "I've taken action and
still nothing happens".

By taking action I don't mean changing the order link on
your turnkey website and uploading it to your website.
Then sitting back and waiting to see how many people will
be knocking your door down to purchase your products.

Oh no! It's rarely this easy.

What I mean is actively implementing strategies and
promoting your website or products to the millions of
eager visitors on the net. Or approaching other webmasters
to create a joint venture partnership and aggressively
building your opt-in email list, etc.

If you aren't prepared to get off your butt and take real
action then don't even bother thinking about trying to
start an internet business. In fact more to the point...
don't even bother reading any further!

I'm sorry for being so blunt but it's for your own good.

If you try to start an internet business without being
able to devote at least a one hour per day to IMPLEMENT
any of the suggested plans or strategies you learn, then
you may as well sit in the middle of the street and give
away $100 bills to complete strangers.

At least this way you'll gain some satisfaction in
knowing that someone is going to get some benefit and use
the money wisely.

If you're prepared to do the hard yards and build a solid
foundation for your business, then as time goes by you'll
be able to place your business on autopilot and you'll
begin to reap the rewards that the net can provide.

Only then, can you take a step back and spend less time
running your business and spend more time enjoying life
with your family doing the things they like.

The thing is, it can be up to three to six months
(most times longer) before you start to show any real
profits. But if you've done everything right and built a
solid foundation, you'll be amazed at the money you can
make online once you get established.

Not for one minute am I saying that you'll make $100,000
a year. In all honestly it can take years to make this
sort of money, if at all. The truth is that I can't say
how much you'll make online. The potential is certianly
there to make a significant inco.me online, but only if
you're prepared to work for it.

If you're committed to your online business and actually
IMPLEMENT the methods you learn, the chances of you
achieving your dreams will be greatly increased.

The secret is to be realistic with yourself. If you only
want to start an online business so you can make a few
thousand bucks so you can go on holidays in the next few
weeks, then I'll give you a tip. Save your money!

But if you're prepared to be patient, knowing that it can
take months before you start to see any returns, and your
willing to implement what you learn, then there is hope.
In fact the odds are that you WILL succeed.

1. Offer several options for ordering

The best way to maximize your sales is to offer a secure
order form, phone orders, fax orders, and postal orders.
One of the keys to success in any business is to make
ordering as easy as possible.

2. freebies are the key to sales

Offer freebies on your site. Offer free information,
free CGI programs, free eBooks, free demos, free
samples or your products or services, free ANYTHING!

freebies are the driving force in online marketing so
make sure that everything you do has some freebie
involved. As long as your offer has a high perceived value,
you will succeed.

3. The most important task is to collect email addresses

If you get your prospect's email address, you can follow-
up. If you don't get their email address and you don't get
the sale on the prospect's first visit, you will have lost
them forever. Even a good web site only converts 0.5% -
5.0% of their visitors first time round. If you have the
visitor's email address you can go back to them a second,
third, fourth time.

Make your priority to get your visitor's email address
BEFORE you try for the sale.

4. DOING is more important than KNOWING

The key to wealth isn't always knowing everything. As a
matter of fact, you could know every single trick in the
book and still not earn a dime online. It is the DOING
that brings the profits in your business.

Don't confuse knowledge with action. You need BOTH!

5. Be willing to think outside the box

Be willing to look outside of the Internet to find ideas
and strategies that are helping to build profits in red-
brick businesses. If a technique is a successful profit-
builder off-line, it may just work online. Testing is the
only way to find out.
