Subscription Boxes

Your number one objective of your website should be to get your visitors reach to opt in to your email list.

A great way of capturing the email addresses of those who are interested in your products or services is to place a small subscription form box on your site explaining the benefits of your product or service, such as an ezine. You should also highlight that they will receive a FREE incentive when they subscribe.

It is important that on every page of you website you have a subscription box that allows your visitors to subscribe to your opt in to your email list ... don't forget to offer them an incentives to get them to join your list.

Lets face it. If you can’t get them to opt in to your email list using a free incentive, you have no hope of trying to sell them your product or service.

Once they are on your opt in email list you have a much higher chance of converting them into customers by being able to offer multiple follow-ups via your autoresponder messages.

I suggest that you visit other websites to get some ideas of what your subscription form should look like and then use these ideas as a base to design your own form.

Although popup windows can be irritating if not used correctly, they provide a highly effective means of obtaining new opt in email list subscribers. The key to using popup windows effectively is to combine them with your incentives.

Design a small popup window that utilizes "cookies" designed to only display the popup window the first time your visitor enters your site. This window should contain information about your publication, incentive and the benefits of subscribing. It might read something like this:

"Subscribe to the Profitunity21 newsletter and discover the tips and secrets that the internet business gurus use to be reap bucket loads of money from the internet. Subscribe today and receive a copy of the highly acclaimed ebook, "Secrets of the Internet Marketing Gurus" completely FREE".

Your subscription box should follow this sentence.

Alert Boxes

Although using popup windows with incentives is a highly effective method of obtaining new opt in email list subscribers, there is one other method that is even better. When combined with an incentive, this method will literally double your opt in email list subscriptions instantly. It's similar to a popup window, but it doesn't require your visitor to fill out a form.

When a visitor enters your site, a popup alert box appears. This alert box should provide information about a free incentive you are prepared to give them in return for their opt in email subscription. Your visitor can choose to click on "OK" to subscribe or "Cancel" to close the alert.

The alert box is displayed via a script that extracts your visitor's name and email address. If they choose to subscribe, it then sends their opt in email subscription request... via email... to your autoresponder and adds it to your opt in email list database.
