Learn How to Skyrocket Your Profits Using a Simple Autoresponder Series

If you exercise due diligence in selecting a program and promote it correctly, you almost have an unlimited online money making machine for your internet business.

The difficult part of any backend sales strategy is in the follow-up.

Are You Throwing Away 98% of Your Business?

I's a well known fact that only 1% - 2% of people will purchase anything on their first visit to your website. This means that up to 98% of your visitors are exiting your website without purchasing your products or services.

Now the big question is… can your business survive on just 2% of potential sales?

Let me explain.

You’ve done the hard work and created a great website promoting a product that sells for $30.00... and your getting 1,000 visitors per week. You have an excellent sales letter and as a result your achieving a strike rate of 2%. These sales represent the impulse buyers that purchase your product on their first visit.

We’ll keep the same results from our first example… so you still get the benefit of achieving $600 per week in sales. But this time you provide an incentive to obtain the contact details of your visitors to build an opt in email list ... before they exit your website

Through your opt in email list building efforts you obtain an additional 100 new subscribers that you can follow-up with each week. If you did this for a whole year you would have a list of over 5,000 potential or existing customers.

Now your strategy is to create backend sales to your list by promoting a high quality affiliate product. All of a sudden you are making an additional $19,990 each year just in backend sales alone. Combine this with the original $600 per week that you obtained from sales by first time visitors and… hey you are now making over $50,000 per year. Not to shabby for very little extra work on your part.

Well... I don’t know about you, but I’d definitely rather be using the second strategy in my business.

These statistics confirm our previous examples… to achieve any level of success in an internet business, you MUST have a system in place to capture additional sales using backend strategies, ie after your visitor has left your site.

People need repetition in order to fully absorb the message, understand the information and be completely satisfied before purchasing the product. Some people even forget the message altogether after a few days and need to be reminded on the benefits of the product or service.

What is needed is a simple, easy to use way to follow-up with your potential customers to give them a gentle reminder or provide additional information on your product or service... so they can consider all the benefits, prior to making their decision.

One of the best methods of getting information to customers is through the use of an email autoresponder. Email autoresponders work like a fax-on-demand. If your visitors send an email or complete a subscription form linked to your autoresponder address, they will immediately be sent a pre-written email message on their preferred subject.

Autoresponders allow a sequence of messages to be sent to a prospective customer at various intervals. It takes several contacts to convert an interested prospect into a paying customer, a near impossible task with one-shot advertising. And unlike any one-shot advertising strategy can ever do, your own well cultivated opt-in list can guarantee you a monthly income into the future. This is what is meant by “the money is in the list”.
